Poetry

Submit up to 5 poems per reading period. No length limit.

Prose

Flash fiction submissions should be no more than 1,000 words each. You may submit up to 3 flashes per open reading period.
For longer fiction, submit one short story of up to 7,500 words.

Art

Up to 3 submissions at a time. All mediums are welcomed.

How to Submit

Send your best work to bluemoonrevieweditor[at]gmail[dot]com. Format the subject line so it reads “Submission: [PROSE/POETRY/ART], [NAME].” Simultaneous submissions are allowed, and we accept previously published work.

For writing submissions, please provide your name, a short bio, a cover letter, and the PDF of your submission in the body of the email. If your work was previously published elsewhere, include where it was published for proper creditWe only accept PDF submissions. For art submissions, include the same information with your image attached as a PNG or JPG.

To withdraw work, please email us as soon as possible with the subject line “Withdrawn Submission: [PROSE/POETRY/ART], [NAME], [TITLE].”
